E-Rate Training Information

The South Carolina E-Rate Consortium is dedicated to assisting the state's school districts, charter schools and library systems navigate the complex E-Rate program. To assist in this effort, the E-Rate Consortium conducts periodic trainings for E-Rate coordinators and works to update the training materials provided below.

E-Rate Training Sessions

The E-Rate Consortium does not have any additional training opportunities scheduled at this time. For up-to-date information about the E-Rate program, including training opportunities, please subscribe to the E-Rate Listserv.

USAC Training Materials

There are many training resources available to E-Rate coordinators at South Carolina’s school districts, charter schools and library systems. We highly recommend that all E-Rate coordinators subscribe to USAC’s News Brief, a weekly email listserve that provides timely information regarding E-Rate rules and deadlines.

In addition, we also recommend school district, charter school and library system E-Rate Coordinators new to the E-Rate program consider watching the videos in USAC’s Online Learning Library. These videos will provide E-Rate coordinators new to the program with an excellent orientation to the complexities of the program.

The above presentations are for reference only. Due to the changing nature of the E-Rate program, the contents of the presentations may be out of date. If you have questions about a specific presentation, please contact the Interim State E-Rate Coordinator via email at petra.turner@admin.sc.gov.
