E-Rate News:

  • E-Rate Productivity Center (EPC) Administrative Window Opens Oct. 24, 2023

    • The administrative window will open Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, and will close shortly before the FY 2024 application filing window opens in early 2024. After this time, applicant profiles will be locked and you will not be able to make changes to your profile information.

    • The EPC administrative window is the period during which applicants can make updates to their profile information — including student counts, National School Lunch Program (NSLP) participation rates, library square footage, and the entities and individuals associated with your entity including consulting firms — in EPC to prepare for the upcoming FY 2024 FCC Form 471 application filing window.   • Universal Service Administration Company (USAC) announced an E-Rate Productivity Center (EPC) Consolidation

  • Fall 2023 E-Rate Virtual Training Events announced by USAC

    • USAC confirmed the E-Rate Fall 2023 Training dates for applicants and service providers that wish to learn more about the program and how to participate. The sessions are for E-Rate program participants of all levels of experience and will include opportunities to ask questions. Recordings of these trainings will be available after the trainings.   • South Carolina E-Rate Valid Data File (NSLP)

    The FY 2022-23 South Carolina E-Rate Valid Data File is complete, it will be is used for E-Rate FY 2023-24. The file may be found online at the SC Department of Education's E-Rate – Free and Reduced Meal Eligibility Data webpage.

  • Private Network and Internet Bandwidth Allocation and Security Monitoring Policy

    The Private Network and Internet Bandwidth Allocation and Security Monitoring Policy has been updated for FY 2023-24. This policy is intended to create an equitable method of determining how much private network and internet bandwidth is funded by the K-12 School Technology Initiative Committee for participating charter schools, public schools and libraries in South Carolina. A copy of the updated policy can be found on the Publications webpage.

E-Rate Deadlines:

  • Early 2024 - Complete all administerial updates to EPC profiles prior to the start of the FY2024-25 filing window (January 2024).
